My sister was so thrilled with my Shifu that she instantly asked for its pattern when she saw it. When I went back home at Bicol, I was surprised to see so many Shifu relatives :P! Apparently, she became addicted to it! She made it into key chains and later received requests and orders from friends.

Abydos vest

I made this easy, fresh and fashionable cover up basing on the pattern of Abydos Vest from the book Amazing Crochet lace by Noris Chan.

I am using our local Monaco cotton yarn which is much thinner than the yarn specified in the book for this pattern so I have to make adjustments to the pattern. It took me around 2 weeks to finish. Here's how it looks like unfinished..

I've given several of this cellphone cases/holders to some friends and they liked it! It's a snug fit and you can easily draw your cellphone in and out. The pattern is also very simple. I am now selling them for a very reasonable price.
