baby booties

The moment I saw one of this baby booties, my heart pumped with excitement! They are so cute and I couldn't wait to make my own too! I researched for patterns on the web but I didn't find any pattern that match the yarns I'm using. The booties end up smaller than expected. Some just doesn't look right. So I decided to come up with my own pattern. I tried several times stitching and ripping back until I get it perfectly. Now, I couldn't be more proud of my booties! :) Here it is...

Jasper's cap

When I gave Shifu to Jasper last year, he asked me if I can also make him a cap. So I made one and gave it to him. But to my disappointment, he only laughed at the brim of the cap. He said it looks like the ears of a mouse. I knew he would comment on that brim! Here's how it looks like before.

I was not easily discouraged. I took back the cap and planned to changed the brim. But I don't seem to have the enthusiasm to do it. It was only last week that I was finally able to work on it. Here's how it looks like now.

I'll give this to him today. I hope he will not laugh at it this time. :)
